SIRPLUS is a social impact start-up that addresses food waste by bringing surplus food back into circulation through their supermarkets and online shop. In close partnership with producers, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers, SIRPLUS buys imperfect or past best before date food which is still perfectly edible and brings it back into the cycle. Their goal is to massively reduce food waste by raising awareness and offering a tangible solution for consumers and businesses. Moreover, they provide the supply chain with not only a practical solution but also education on how to avoid food waste, reduce overproduction and reduce CO2 emissions.
