Head of Charities, People’s Postcode Lottery

Laura Chow has been head of charities at People's Postcode Lottery since May 2018, where she manages 18 charitable trusts, each with its own individual board of trustees, and develops long-term funding partnerships. As the appointed executive manager of all 18 trusts, Laura is responsible for ensuring that People's Postcode Lottery delivers on its objectives as an external lottery manager. She also plays a pivotal role in the governance and compliance of the Trusts.

Laura brings a wealth of experience community investment. She has managed initiatives across Asia Pacific with Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs including developing Goldman's 10,000 Women programme in China and the Philippines - a programme providing women entrepreneurs with a business and management education, mentoring and access to capital. She also worked as a Senior Programme manager in the sustainability team at RBS in the UK during which time she completed the Prince of Wales's Business and Sustainability Programme at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.

She has an MA (Hons) in Chinese from The University of Edinburgh and was highly commended in Finance category of the 2014 Asian Women of Achievement Awards.‚Äč
