JAN PAUL VAN SOEST

Jan Paul van Soest is a sustainability strategy consultant for companies, governments and NGOs. His work focuses on environmental, energy, nature and economic relationships. He currently holds board positions with organisations including BioShape Holding, Triodos Meerwaarde- en Groenfonds, the Centre for Agriculture and Environment, and the SustainAbility Faculty. He has previously sat on the boards of many other organisations, including the WWF and the Dutch Energy Council.
Jan Paul recently co-founded Carbon Stars, a company that helps to develop and finance innovative energy- and climate-oriented ventures. He was previously director of the environmental consultancy CE. He has authored and edited numerous publications, including De Aarde heeft Koorts ('The Earth Has a Fever'), Natuur = Economie! ('Nature = Economy!') and Het Leven is een Spel ('Life Is a Game').
