ANDY HOBSBAWM, 2007 FINALIST

GREEN THING

Andy Hobsbawm

The Green Thing is the first initiative to combine marketing psychology, world-class creativity and the self-fuelling energy of online communities to make it easy and enjoyable to be green. The Green Thing's basic principle is to tempt people to do one small thing a month and so build up a programme of sustainable behaviour, one simple step at a time.

"The Postcode Lottery Green Challenge will be organised for the third time in 2009. I was happy to be involved in launching this initiative. We should all work on promoting sustainable businesses and to do that, we need to find the young, creative entrepreneurs. The Postcode Lottery Green Challenge does just this."
