This year The Climate Group is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a series of activities that highlight their past achievements, as well as drive forward their work to secure a thriving low carbon future for all. On Tuesday March 25, 2014, they hosted a special anniversary fundraising gala in Monte Carlo. 3 former winners of the Green Challenge were also present, and won some awards in Monaco to boot!

The fast-growing clean energy and technology market has the potential to not only future-proof, but kick-start our stagnant economy. Today’s leaders and innovators must unlock a Clean Revolution that builds resilience, creates value and grows prosperity. And The Climate Group provides that opportunity.


On Tuesday March 25, 2014, they hosted a special anniversary fundraising gala in Monte Carlo where a host of high profile supporters, dignitaries, government leaders and celebrities gathered in Monaco. Hosted under the high patronage of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco and co-organized in partnership with his Foundation, the special event was held at the Salle Empire at the Hôtel de Paris in the heart of Monte Carlo.

Former Postcode Lottery Green Challenge winners Molly Morse from Mango Materials, Scot Frank from One Earth Designs and Nick Christy from CINTEP were all attending the diner, and then went on to present their companies at CleanEquity Monaco 2014 on March 27th & 28th at the Sporting d'Hiver, Monaco. Their companies and other cutting-edge technology companies were showcased to a world-class group of specialist delegates, which included financial investors, corporate investors, established industry players, key policymakers and international trade media. The award for Excellence in the Field of Environmental Technology Research went to Mango Materials. The runner-up award for Excellence in the Field of Environmental Technology Development went to CINTEP and the award for Excellence in the Field of Environmental Technology Commercialisation went to One Earth Designs. Congratulations to all of you! We as the Dutch Postcode Lottery were honoured to win an Innovator Award at the Euro Efficiency Forum in the Projects category, for the Postcode Lottery Green Challenge.
