Emissions reduction has been shown to be impossible without measurement, the company says. The app aggregates data across groups, so individuals can compare themselves with peers. Companies and event organisers can use it to measure employees' and attendees' emissions.

Biography: Andreas is a GHG management and telecoms expert who founded the business in 2007 after a successful career in finance with Goldman Sachs, UniCredit and Daiwa SMBC. He left finance in 2005 to study Industrial Design at The Royal College of Art, where the Carbon Diem idea was conceived. Since then he has developed, funded, promoted and nurtured Carbon Diem on a full-time basis. Having built and led teams before, I take even greater pride in having assembled a tight group of creative and disciplined specialists who are focused on the mission and have become friends in the process.
