STEVE HOWARD

Since January Steve Howard has been the Chief Sustainability Officer at IKEA Group since January 2011. Steve Howard was CEO of The Climate Group which he co-founded in 2003.

During his years at the Climate Group, he has advised and briefed leading companies and CEOs, state and government leaders on various aspects of climate change. Before founding The Climate Group, he worked 15 years with leading corporations, NGOs and UN bodies on environmental and sustainability issues.

Steve is a member of Vantage Point Venture Partners Advisory Board, a member of the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council on Climate Change, a judge of the Virgin Earth Challenge and an Advisor to the Planetary Skin Institute. Before founding The Climate Group, Steve spent 15 years working with major corporations, NGOs and UN bodies on the environment including leading development of WWF's Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).
