GREEN CHALLENGE 2012

Sustainable entrepreneurs the world over will be invited to send in their business plans from May-July 2012 for the sixth edition of the Postcode Lottery Green Challenge. The preliminary jury will then select the finalists who are invited to present their ideas in person in Amsterdam at the end of September. Who will win this year's prize of EUR 500.000?

Nick Christy wins 2011 Green Challenge

The Green Challenge 2011 was a great celebration of five years of creative and innovative ideas. It confirmed the many reasons we are organising this annual competition. 717 people from 81 countries sent in their CO2 reducing business plans. The preliminary jury selected 6 finalists from these entries: Marjolein Helder, Svante Bengtsson, Nick Christy, Eden Full, Peter van Dommele and Andreas Zachariah.

The finalists all came to Amsterdam from 11-15 September 2011 and during the Award Ceremony on 14 September they pitched their plans to the jury. On 15 September, the Award Ceremony took place, where the jury announced Nick Christy was the winner of the EUR 500,000 prize. 19 year old Eden Full was named runner-up, winning EUR 200,000.
